Due to New Year’s Eve holiday on Sunday December 31st, 2017, Federal Government E.I. office will be closed on Monday January 1st, 2018. Payment will be issue on Tuesday January 2nd, 2018. All E.I. claimants (regular or special) may experience a delay of one or two business days in receiving their Employment Insurance cheques or direct deposit. Once payment is sent out, it may take up to 2 business days to process from your bank.
