Due to 2024  Easter long weekend, the Service Canada Employment Insurance office will be closed on Friday, March 29th, and Monday, April 1st, 2024.

All EI claimants (regular or special) may experience a delay of one or two business days in receiving their Employment Insurance cheques or direct deposit.

The direct deposit payments will be issued on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024. You will expect your EI benefits direct deposit payment on Wednesday or Thursday.
