Due to 2023  Easter weekend, the Service Canada Employment Insurance office will be closed on Friday, April 7th, and Monday, April 10th, 2023.

All EI claimants (regular or special) may experience a delay of one or two business days in receiving their Employment Insurance cheques or direct deposit.

The direct deposit payments will be issued on Tuesday, April 11th, 2023. You will expect your EI benefits direct deposit payment on Wednesday or Thursday.

Please ensure to plan yourself accordingly.
