Local Service Canada offices and EI call centre will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, December 27 and 28th. Offices will re-open on Wednesday December 29th, 2021.

 

Early Reporting for the week of December 12 to 25th.

If you have a reporting period ending December 25, 2021, you can submit your report early. This helps ensure that you receive your payments on time during the December 2021 to January 2022 winter holiday season.

• If you live in Ontario, in the Western provinces or in the Territories, you can submit your report on Monday, December 20 after 7 pm
• If you live in Quebec or in the Atlantic provinces, you can submit your report starting on Tuesday, December 21 after 7 pm (7:30 pm in Newfoundland and Labrador)

A reminder of the early reporting dates will be available through the Telephone Reporting Service and the Internet Reporting Service.

Payment Dates

Due to statutory holidays, the direct deposit dates for the December 2021 to January 2022 winter holiday season may vary. If you are expecting mailed cheque, you will have to wait longer for your cheque to arrive due to Canada Post mailing delay.

If you submit your report on:

• December 20, your direct deposit is scheduled for December 22
• December 21, your direct deposit is scheduled for December 23
• December 22, your direct deposit is scheduled for December 24
• December 23, your direct deposit is scheduled for December 29
• December 24, 25, 26, 27 or 28, your direct deposit is scheduled for December 30
• December 29, your direct deposit is scheduled for December 31
• December 30, your direct deposit is scheduled for January 4
• December 31 or January 1, 2 or 3, your direct deposit is scheduled for January 5
