The Government of Canada has made the decision to declare Monday, September 19th, 2022, as a national holiday for the Queen’s funeral. All EI claimants (regular or special) may experience a delay of one or two business days in receiving their Employment Insurance direct deposit. Payment will be issued on Tuesday, September 20th and it may take up to 2 business days to process from your bank.
