Passport Officer
This position will require you to work in-person to process citizens’ files for their Passport.
Work environment
???? It is possible that you will have to go to our temporary work place located at 200 Montcalm Street, Gatineau (Quebec). However, our permanent location is at 22 Varennes Street, Gatineau (Quebec).

Intent of the process
✅ The goal of this process is to create a pool of bilingual qualified candidates to meet Service Canada’s significant need to hire new officers to help with passport processing at our processing centre in Gatineau (Quebec).
The pool may also be used to fill similar positions in Gatineau within Service Canada at ESDC.

???? Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete a 3-week full-time (37.5 hours per week) training course (travel may be required) and a structured 10-week apprenticeship program in order to qualify for continued employment.

Tests
Cognitive Ability – Level 1
Applicants must complete the Unsupervised Internet Test of Cognitive Ability – Level 1 as part of the screening for this selection process. This test assesses general problem solving and reasoning ability. You will have 60 minutes to complete the test. You must complete the test before you submit your application for this position.
