Service Canada Outreach Support Centre

The Service Canada Outreach Support Centre provides specialized assistance for Canadians facing barriers to accessing federal services. If you cannot reach the main EI phone lines or do not have reliable internet, you can access outreach support by calling 1-800-O-Canada (1-800-622-6232) or by submitting an eServiceCanada request for a local agent to call you back within 48 hours. This service is essential for rural residents and seniors who require one-on-one guidance with Employment Insurance, CPP, or OAS applications.

The centre operates during normal business hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm local time.

  • Use Outreach if: You have no internet, you live in a remote area, or you need help starting a form.

  • Use EI Main Line if: You have an existing claim, your payments are late, or you have been disqualified.
