Impact on Benefit Payments & Processing
When Service Canada offices are closed, please note the following service impacts:
- EI Payments: Statutory holidays often delay direct deposits by one business day. If a holiday falls on a Monday, expect your payment on Wednesday instead of Tuesday.
- Application Processing: Processing times for EI, CPP, and OAS applications may be extended during holiday weeks.
